Far left is the cnc build correct?

nope - that's a hand built

all the best,

Then it's the second from the left. You're trying to be sneaky... :laughing7:

Well wait a minuet, when I first guessed which one I didn't realize there were 3 photo's in question, I just seen the last photo. So by looking at all 3 photo's, it would be the 4th from the left.

if you're able to be in Anaheim, CA on Jan 22nd ... I can get you a Sunday Only visitor pass to the NAMM show. I would need to know by 5P Seattle time on Jan 5th (Thur)

good enough prize?

all the best,

R

a little tase of the incredible talent that's been flowing here at the booth all week. Bill Clements and Edo Castro broke into this thre-handed jam on Sat morning ... I wish I'd have caught the first half I missed recording while I was digging my camera out (lesson learned: have camera ready at all times)

You can do amazing things with 1 hand if you're creative enough.

here's a current build underway. this build morphed my 34" M-Series design into a 35" scale.

this
RM11514_BodySandwichGlueUpInVacBag.jpg

became this
RM11514_BodySandwichFreshOutOfVacBag.jpg

RM11514_BodySandwichFreshOutOfVacBag_Back.jpg

after the CAD/CAM definition was completed
CADmodelwithtoolpaths.jpg

a proofing body was cut
RM11514_ProofingBody_RoughedRearSide_1.jpg

and then fit with a proofing neck
RM11514_ProofingBuildCompleted_Front.jpg

RM11514_ProofingBuildCompleted_Rear.jpg

a couple small tweaks to the CAD/CAM data, and everything was right on the money and ready to cut the $$$ wood sandwich
RM11514_OnTheCnc_Top.jpg

RM11514_OnTheCnc_Back.jpg

and a peek at the gorgeous flame Maple body core peeking out from behind the Redwood burl top/back on the edges and gut-cut
RM11514_FirstLookAtTheFlamingGutCut.jpg

the rough material for the FM/FM neck for this is even more stunning than the body core. images of that once I have the neck completed

all the best,

R
