Sarah Ryan inspired Fender XII and Jazz Bass

i have mixed feelings about the style of artwork, but i think part of that is the way it looks on construction paper. I think painted on a guitar with a smooth matte or satin finish it will look really cool. Tell her to start taking orders here.

And now for the Bass!

I put it together using the neck from my fender-bird bass, did a fast setup, and hooked everything together. 
It has a great feel and balance.  Pickups are a set of Lollar Jazz Bass PUs and are great.

I'm sorry to admit it, but this bass is better than my fender-bird...  I think the boy agrees:

Regarding the design, Dosh is having trouble with it.  There are two separate regions on the bass where the XII had one.  She's not sure what she'll do yet.

Quick update:  We had rehearsal tonight and Dosh played the Jazz Bass the entire night.  She loves it.
