Body and Neck have arrived ! Man, I am super happy with the grain on both the body and neck. Love how the curves of the grain on the body top follow the body outline and the book matching is awesome. Even the end grain on the Swamp Ash core matches up. I'm going to cut out my headstock design on the mooncaster first, then figure out the taping of the masked accent line before lightly staining the back to darken it up.

It was dealer's choice. I called them about unique choice but they said they can't offer that on Rosewood due to smaller supply of large pieces. I just added a note for them to try to pick a piece with good grain and color variation since was going to do a natural oiled finish, and man they came through ! I think anyway.......

Thanks, I was looking at the Sheen Plus, but I can't seem to find anything but a huge 'Economy Size', and I know this stuff goes a long way. May just have to bite the bullet.
 
Did some test fitting last night. Figures I would receive it right when I'm in the middle of a bathroom remodel, so haven't had much time with it yet. I'm anxious to get the headstock cut first, maybe this weekend. Looks pretty close to my mock-up, other than deciding against the Floyd Rose. Already have my 'customized' black and gold Gotoh locking tuners, but still searching for the black and gold knobs.....
