Thanks !That headstock turned out great, build is looking fantastic!
My Wife thought of the Everybody Loves Raymond episode as soon as she saw it…..I don’t get it… although I’ve been married for a while, so that’s probably why
I prefer helping my Wife plant Tulip Bulbs…..You mean, you don't help to chop onions.![]()

Thanks. Yeah Warmoth refers to it as 'Masked Accent Line' so I just go with that. I've also heard Faux Binding.Great work! I wasn't understanding what you were doing with the masking before but it turned out looking good!
That looks awesome.Got the Rubio color on the Swamp Ash last night and I'm pretty happy with it. The masked accent line turned out good with just a few small bleed areas I should be able to touch up. Now to do some 'Precision Sanding' to remove the shellac on the line and clear coat the entire body.

ThanksThat looks awesome.
I ended up sanding off the white back and sides on my AggieCaster, because I just couldn’t stop spillover onto the 0.5 mm black veneer between the sides and top. So I’ll go natural. Your accent line looks really nice and sharp and a great, modern take on “binding”.Thanks
Thanks, and thanks for the Rubio idea. The accent line was a bit of a pain, taping off, brushing shellac on the line, removing tape and taping back over the line…. You might could do that same process on the veneer accent line. But I’m not in a hurry, I enjoy the build process.I ended up sanding off the white back and sides on my AggieCaster, because I just couldn’t stop spillover onto the 0.5 mm black veneer between the sides and top.
