Say whut? There are so many gimmicks out there in guitar land. The worst part is that some people will (literally) buy into this.

I remember seeing something like this here before.  It wasn't EB, but something strikingly similar.

Wait, why is it not available on Floyd Rose equipped guitars? (I ain't buyin' no guitar if it ain't got no Floyd Rose! :tard:)
Does it have something to do with the holes for the locking nut?

When do we see the cryogenically frozen necks......that give you nothing but cool licks?  :laughing11:

Can I use cryogenically frozen strings with a roasted neck?

(I bet SOMEONE is going to legitimately ask that question somewhere... :laughing7:)

Actually , Bob Taylor is baking his tops for acoustic guitars.   Turns out that in that application it does improve stability because there is less shrinkage and top movement that can cause cracks.
I got this from the latest Premier guitar where he has a column.

Doubt it does anything significant for a neck mind you.

BTW, anyone seen these crazy Taylor 8 string baritone guitars?

Edit - it's actually PRS who is baking the guitar tops - my bad.  The taylor is still cool though.

Edit Edit Edti - ok I double screwed up.  it really is Taylor that bakes their tops.  Here's the article:

Also, wtf, it says "Package Includes:" and lists the  neck, finish, fretboard, and inlays as separate bullet points.  Wow, that's quite a "package."

Think they'll give me a discount if I purchase pickups and hardware too?
Nah, who am I kidding. The package comes with everything I need.

You guys need to get up to speed and drop the sarcasm.

Suhr,  Anderson and a few others are now offering this " Vulcanized " maple and are raving about it's benefits.

Go check it out, it seems to be the single greatest discovery of the past few years.

I'd love to have had that option when I bought my Anderson.

Just got an e-mail with this in it:

I hear the necks defrost the strings within 5 songs and then everything shorts out.  :laughing3:

Nice! Does that mean that a finish is no longer required?
