Roasted Alder?...

'Anyone have (or can direct me to) a picture of a roasted alder body? I'd like to see how dark it is.

Here is what's in Warmoth's showcase at the moment.

It seems that unfinished, the roasted Alder only looks a little darker than the unroasted Alder. But even adding a clear gloss finish darkens it up measurably. A vintage gloss would look great on this type of body, I reckon..

I have a roasted alder tele body that is unfinished. Not as dark as mahogany.
