Are there plans to update the Color Choices page on the website or the Color Catalog PDF?

For example, imagine spending the money to shoot every transparent color we offer over roasted ash and alder, edit all the photos, and post the PDF.....and then roasted alder gets discontinued. (Which will likely be happening soon.)
Thanks for the tip about roasted wood being discontinued. I placed my order for a roasted alder / QMT soloist last week.

I thought roasted wood was the best thing ever for guitars, since it removes most (or all?) of the moisture content.
Why would it be discontinued?

I don’t really expect a roasted body wood to be the “best thing ever”. Perhaps a bit more stable, more rigid, perhaps more resonant? I never tried one, but I love 🥰 alder body guitars, so I wanted to try a roasted one before they are gone.

The colour of roasted alder is also appealing to me. I’ve seen transparent amber on roasted alder in pics before and it comes out dark and intense. Hopefully that will be an interesting contrast with an amber dyed QMT top. A little bit of guessing due to the lack of official pics on the Warmoth site, so I can’t wait see the actual product.

To clarify, I didn't say "roasted wood" was being discontinued. I said Roasted Alder bodies might soon be discontinued.

There are lots of reasons why some product or another might be discontinued, regardless of its popularity or how well suited it is for a particular application.

@Wolff05 Great.

My last request for now: Do you have butterscotch blonde, transparent yellow, and/or vintage tint over roasted ash? Preferably a Tele? Trying to envision a "what if Fender used roasted woods in the 50s" concept.

Here's Vint Tint Satin over Roasted Ash. Obviously the darkness of the wood will change how it looks.

I think we didn't allow Butterscotch over Roasted woods because it looked so horrendous... but here's one over Mahogany. It turned more of a baby poop color over the darker roasted woods.
