Reverse Headstocks , are they Ergonomically superior ?

ofcourse it would, but this has nothing to do with youngs modulus :D its about reducing friction between the string and the nut.
 
I own both types, and I like them pretty equally. One is no better than the other, whether ergonomically, or otherwise. Depending on the headstock shape, one style may look better reversed while another style may look better in the standard configuration...
