Received: Schaller Signum Wraparound - WOW

TonePros AVII, Schaller Signum, and Gotoh 510 -

Out of all these, I love the looks of the 510 most, with the Schaller hardly trailing behind.  It's a gorgeous unit, too.  The good news is that the Schaller fits the Tone Pros studs perfectly!  I'm going to install it tomorrow and will move forward with the 510 on the Velocity build.

The Schaller is the middleweight here, with the 510 being much heavier, as you might imagine.  The TonePros is...all business aesthetically, but very functional - nice range of intonation, but provides a very annoying experience to restring.  Unlike the 510 or the Schaller, there are no string channels, but only an open frame; you have to carefully add downward pressure to the string at the entry point to angle the end upwards and through the rear pass through.

Way nice. Gonna slide right in there perfect. I like that it is slimmer then the Gotoh. It is just clean looking to me. After comparing do you think the shaller would have fit right into the 510 mounting? That is one pretty purple guitar ya got there.

Yep all three should retrofit. The bushings the tonepros is mounted in are 510 bushings that we discovered don't play nice with flat tops. Just had to use metric studs IIRC.

Thanks for the kind words. Ms Nesbit likes flattery haha.

Pabloman- that's Seshual chocolate right there.

OK, the Schaller studs need to be US, not Metric in order for a direct fit.  I can use the AVII's studs to mount the bridge, but the caps are quite a bit thicker, so that places them above the height of the strings.  No go.  MS Nesbit is gonna be what she's gonna be.  I'm alright with that.    :party07:

Tone Pros has a fix for this. It's a low profile American stud. I believe the part number is FDSALVO92b.

Some random notes - No difference in sound. Feels really smooth. Awesome contour. I believe it's up there with the 510 for comfort. Strings load really easily, too. I was also able to take the shim out of my neck pocket.  The saddles have so much intonation travel available, I was able to leave the bridge at a perfect 90* to the strings. No angle needed with the hex screws.
