Question about coilsplit.

I'm sory, but I did not understand this one:

L6M, the wiring I gave taps to the outside coils, because one pickup is upside down.  Your wiring is for one screw, one slug, which is not inside/outside.  I do agree that one screw, one slug is better!   :rock-on:

I'm not sure which switch I want to use.
I'm not so good at electronics. The only thing I know for sure now, is that I have to get some sort of DPDT switch that fits a 3/8" hole.

Perhaps I should go for a Push/Pull Pot?

Edit:
I think I want to do just a simple HSS config.
That means that I just have to split one humbucker.

I did an awsome job in "paint" again, this time with just one HB and a Push/Pull Pot.

I would assume that you want the south coil active in single coil mode, correct?
If so:

Black goes to terminal 1, and also to the pickup selector switch.
Red and White go to terminal 3.
Green goes to ground.
All other terminals are unused.

Yes, It is the south one.

A piece of art in paint....again! :occasion14:

Something like this?

I am a bit confused on this pickup...
Is this supposed to be a neck pickup or a bridge pickup?

You want the screws on the south coil, but is the south coil red/green, or black/white?

This is the bridge pickup.
Ahh, didn't remember that the wires are supposed to come from different poles N & S

It is supposed to be the South one!

I don't know what wires coming from which pole.

ahh! this is cunfusing :icon_scratch:

Ok, if this is really a bridge pickup, like i said earlier:

Black goes to terminal 1, and also to the pickup selector switch.
Red and White go to terminal 3.
Green goes to ground.
All other terminals are unused.

Think I got it now!
I promise not to draw any more of the horrible and confusing wiring diagrams in paint :laughing8:

Thanks for being so patient with me! :laughing11:
Its 06:00 in the morning now, and I better get some sleep and put this away for a couple of hours!
It's driving me insane!

You guys are confusing the hell out of me about the pickup being upside down and whatnot...

Worst case scenario, wire it up one way, and tap on the pole pieces. if the wrong coil is active, rewire it the other way.
