That was actually the example I gave to Rob at Warmoth as what I was shooting for.  Basically, we settled on doing the Carribean burst finish, but substituting purple for blue.  See:  http://www.unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=16228.0 for the thread, and more particularly http://www.unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=16228.msg237393#msg237393

Mocked up (without neck or pickup selector).  The knobs are just laid on the face of the guitar, since the holes aren't drilled yet.  I like the volume knob in the pinky-volume-swells position you find on a Strat - maybe just a little bit to the southeast of the Strat position, but not by much.  Traditional tele knob positions are frustrating to me - the switch is at the wrong end (for me) of the control plate, and the volume is too far away.  A Sisyphean undertaking, that telecaster layout ...

They're from a PRS Santana II, harvested unused by an owner who preferred the Santana II body but Santana III pickup set.  ubershallman on this board sold 'em to me.
