Sorry to have been remiss in replying - life's been busy!
I hope to get some decent detailed photos this weekend, which I will of course post in this thread.
Updown, yes - Cagey did assemble the components, and did a stellar job. I have never played a more nicely set-up guitar. Ever. Plays like buttah.
I have never encountered a guitar that sustains so very long. Fretted notes, too - not just the open ones. It almost sounds as if it's very mildly compressed, but without the loss of dynamics that compression brings to bear. These PRS pickups are the bee's knees - I have never played humbuckers I really, truly liked until now. I've been a committed single-coil guy for my whole guitar-playing life, and am having some serious revisions thrust upon my worldview.
And thank you for the kind wishes for the incoming tot - I'll post photos of that little guy, too, but in an off-topic thread.
