Finally completed Contour Heel build with a 4 lb. 5oz. Warmoth Ash Strat Hardtail Body routed SSS. The hardtail 4-Bolt body was converted to a Fender Style Contour Heel, a ProAttach.com II Kit was used to attach the Pro-Construction/Modern Side Adjust Neck to the body. Photos are from my outdated camera.

The neck is a beautiful Warmoth Quartersawn Goncalo Pro Neck SRV, SS 6105 frets, 1 11/16" nut width. The Ebony board edges and frets were radius block rolled together tapering off to the 14th fret to preserve remaining board width, fret ends dressed and polished. Neck mounting inserts were also installed.
Tuners are Wilkinson double row vintage top loaders, single Fender string tree, Fender spaghetti decal, Tusq nut, Fender contour heel neck plate, Fender strap buttons bored for larger #8 screws, Fender string ferrules, Fender USA '62 hardtail bridge, Fender Engine Turned Aluminum Pickguard, Guenther Jack Plate, CTS Pots, cloth covered wiring, Van Zandt Blues Pickups neck and middle, Van Zandt Rock Model in bridge position, 5 way switch and GHS Rene Martinez .009 1/2 - .043 strings.
The body was painted with nitro vintage white/yellow, no clear coats which gives a pleasing semi gloss finish and blends well with the no finish neck. Photo quality is not the best, especially front view.
The guitar plays and sounds beyond initial expectations and I hate to see it go but the good news is it will replace another Strat built prior to Unofficial Warmoth and was lost in the recent fires that destroyed around 1800 homes in the Austin/Bastrop area in Texas  The only thing left of that build was part of its truss rod. Unfortunately it was one of many instruments lost along with a priceless Jimi Hendrix photo and memorabilia collection, etc.

Update...After 9 years at its new home in Austin I got to see this build again. Checked it over and discovered the bridge tone pot was not working. Replaced bridge pot and cap. Checked fret level, polished with micro-mesh 8,000 grit. Stainless frets still GTG which after 9 years would not be with Nickel-Silver. Installed inserts is also paying off especially if you are someone who will not stop tinkering until the build is 110%. Neck relief was almost like it was when it left. Also installed a new nut and GHS Nickel Rockers .010" - .046". New GHS packaging keeps the strings factory fresh. All neck mount screws still tight, etc.

Below is the build lost in the Bastrop Texas fire...Had a nice Kingwood board, Standard thin vintage-modern 4-bolt neck, Engine Turned Pick-guard, Van Zandts, etc. As I recall the body was a Hefner, May it RIP.

Looks very good, Not sure I like the pickguard, but maybe it looks better in person, otherwise i love it.

I totally dig the contoured heel ( plan on doing the same thing). I also really like the hardtail bridge, and the color of the body.
