Fernando Perez delivers a blistering set of tunes performed on an array of Weissenborn guitars built by luthier Michael Gotz.  His intonation gets a tad dodgy at one or two points, but he's solidly in the groove.  Fun stuff.

I downloaded it after reading your post and watched it on a flight this evening. Exceptional! He sure knows how to put on a show. Great material, performances and showmanship all around. Thanks for the reccomendation!

So much musicianship that I was a bit exhausted afterwards, because it got my creative juices quite inspired!  I'm glad you liked it.  I'm interested in getting the Blu-Ray now just for the extras!

The songs are powerful in their own way.  I particularly like Poppy and Concrete Wall.  Give 'em a chance.
Kontoi is funny, means busted in English.  Before she sings Honey Bee she says that she'll forget the lyrics if she doesn't have a guitar in her hand, I know how she feels.
