Post what you're listening to!

Melancholic, apocalyptic, atmospheric music from Godspeed You! Black Emperor.  My first experience with them.  I dig it.

"And now you know.... the rest of the story......"

Wait, sorry, wrong P. Harvey....

What a beautiful Firebird!

Good ol' Paul Harvey. Used to listen to him on the road because the company car only had an AM radio.

Caligula's Horse, my favourite ever band, just released their 4th album. And damn, is it good. I'll hopefully be seeing them in their home town (mine as well) the start of next month if all goes well. This album is fantastic so far, if you love Progressive Metal you'll like these guys...

It's sunday night, a small glass of green Chartreuse, time for something a little, unusual. Air violins a go-go!

I'm seriously going to have to steal that last line for the next time someone do something to irritate me.  :evil4:

Green Chartreuse...... 110 Proof and Yummy! You truly do have good taste, Sir.  :icon_thumright:

This guy just knocks me out every time I go back to see what he's up to lately.  He is so technically adept, he is deeply informed by tradition while also being inventive and creative, and he plays with such joy.

A different kind of music.  This guy has been rebuilding his commando for about 2 years and has over 100 videos of various stages of it.  Been watching through all the ups and downs.  Go to 35:00 for the moment of truth:

Music!!

Way back when, a friend of mine bought a new Norton 850 Commando. It ate up most others on the road at the time. What a fun bike that was. Thanks for the reminder.

I've been in a hole these last two years.

...but it hasn't all been bad.

In my imagination (*cough* Dungeons & Dragons *cough*), I envision the album Book of Shadows II by Zakk Wylde to be forever soaking wet. Like a decanter of endless water...but always leaking, just like my eyes when I listen to it all the way through.  :guitaristgif:

I wish to dunk my copy in a bucket of water just prior to when Zakk signs the cover of this melancholic masterpiece with a Sharpie permanent marker, so that the ink runs astray with the water...except of course, I gave my only copy to one of my cousins

I keep winding my way back to Philip Sayce and I wanted to try embedding one of these inter-tube videos.

Thanks for sharing to y'all, I have totally expanded my listening horizon as a result of this thread. I'm a lover of the blues but I always taught my Daughter; there are only two genres of music, that you like and that you don't. I've found a LOT here to like.

There's a young man channeling his inner SRV  :laughing7:

Nice. Never even heard of him.

This album is probably one of my favourite's of the year. Love that singing so much. Guess the genre by the album artwork  :laughing7:

Also, the drums in this is incredible...It's a human drumming it all.

Some songs from Robert Plants new album Carry Fire, released soon... some cool videos.
