Here's mine.  It's never even remotely this clean.

What are the acoustics like in that room?

Is it me or are all of the guitars in that smaller than normal?

The bass is much smaller.  It's a Mustang (student) bass.  The scale is obnoxiously small (I think 28 or 30).  The rest of the guitars are normal sized.

Am I going be forced to roll out my tool collection to work restoring vehicles and welding up sculptures from scrap metal tomorrow and put you all to shame?

I mean ok computers and guitars,   Mine is a bunch of automotive and welding tools and a 4 tap beer system.

Whatcha got on tap? :occasion14:

depends on the event

usually about 3 taps of some brew and then a domestic lager for the light weights.

Actually pretty nice.  It's got some liveliness to it, but there's enough odd shaped things around that it's not an echo chamber.

Let's resurrect this thread because I took some random phone shots

Amp-corner. It's a storage facility/mancave - a couple of guitars are still boxed as well as some extra gear.

My "pedalboard" in the works.

Amps - I'm gonna have them on some stands side by side.

The studio side.

Some of the the guitar tech-side.

Thanks SP. BTW, I bet not too many of us here know what that pink Boss Digital Dimension is, much less have heard it. I stupidly sold the one I had, because I felt it duplicated my Dimension C. But it really is different. A great spacious sounding, subtle chorus, and one of the best sounding digital modulation pedals in existence.

I have a book on Boss pedals somewhere, and I was always curious about the Dimension C. It seemed so unusual to just have four buttons on a pedal, that it had to either be something really cool or something really cheesy. I wonder why they didn't catch on?

The sound quality and S/N ratio was probably not low enough to get many guitar players excited.

When I was doing advertising in the music industry, Mark Sampson - one of the founders of Matchless Amplification (one of my client companies) saw my Dim. C in my office (this same one, I've had it for over twenty five years), and made a comment to the effect that he thought it was the world's best chorus pedal. The story goes that Roland took an analog rack unit and squashed it inside a pedal housing to get the Dimension C. There really is nothing like it. Another chorus pedal I recently bought - the Earthquaker Devices Sea Machine, can come very close to that sound, but it's not stereo.

The Digital Dimension/Digital Space-D DC-3 is the best sounding chorus pedal I have tried (and of course there are loads of pedals I haven't tried).I haven't tried it's predecessor with the four buttons. But we had a Roland SDD-320 Dimension D in my old band. And it's legacy certainly lives on! I was lucky to get this unit a couple of years ago when I started putting together a new "pedalboard" after many years with modelers and rack units.

There is a lot of info on boss pedal here:

A little unboxing of my new fuzz:

Trying it out with my Warmoth strat with Suhr FL pickups.

The Visual Sound Angry Fuzz really got a lot different settings - from old school to modern - hidden in the knobs. A strat on neck pickup and some fiddling with guitars volume and the "Angry level" which is the octave blend really can whip up some Hendrix.

Last but not least some shots of my Blue Flake Warmoth strat. Swamp ash body and wenge neck. A Suhr SSV in bridge and a Dimarzio Paf Joe in neck. It's my DADGAD tuned guitar for those moments where I just I have to blast out the Kashmir intro riff

Some great looking man caves in this thread.  I remember when this thread started.  Mine was not really worthy of posting at the time.  :icon_biggrin:

Since then, we've moved from San Diego.  I found a better job in an area with a lower housing cost.  As such, we got just a "few" more square feet in our house.  Here's a recent shot of my current man cave.
