Pickups and pots

Gonna replace the neck and bridge pickups on my strat from custom shop texas specials to Seymour Duncan single coil sized humbuckers. Will I need to change my pots? What to? I think I'm going JB Jr. in the neck and either Lil Pearly Gates or Lil Screamin' Demon in the bridge. Not really finding any of this information on the SD site but I could be overlooking it. Any help is appreciated.

The impedances should be similar, so you can keep your existing pots. Pot values usually only need to change when switching between active and passive pickups. That being said, even if they don't need to be changed, some like the sound better with higher or lower values. 500k pots will help to retain output and treble, while 250k pots could be used to warm up bright pickups.

500k pots are typically used with humbuckers (including single-size humbuckers) because they bleed off less treble.

I use 500k on everything (passive pickups) regardless of what the pickups are.
