my first warmoth was a jazzmaster with lollar p90s.
the body was swamp ash, on the showcase and originally routed for standard jazzmaster pickups. but on my instruction warmoth re-routed it for p90s.
but since then i have always pined for a mahogany p90 guitar (a gibson dc) and a "chimey" sounding jazzmaster.
so if i want to put jazzmaster pickups on my jm, what needs to be done apart from getting a new pickguard?
would the p90 routing be an issue? would i need foam etc?
and anybody tried a non-warmoth jm pickguard on a warmoth jm?
appreciate the feedback.
