Ever time you do a project it seems one of the best parts is each problem lets you have a reason to buy new tools. This time the RG Dirty Harry neck Pickup wouldn't fit. The base was too big for the route. So went to town and bought a new dremal

i'm not using a power screw driver  having problems with the Reo grande pick ups  the neck pick up didn't fit in the route (by warmoth) the bridge pick up doesn't match the mounting holes in my goth bridge

What's wrong with the route, where is the pickup/route off? Which pickup did you order for the bridge, why won't that work?

Looked at your other post, did you order Strat Dirty Harry pickups instead of Tele? That would explain it....

nope ordered the tele set the base on the neck pick up wouldn't fit in the opening about an 1/8" to big
The screw holes in the bridge pick up base didn't line up with trhe holes in the bridge. had to dill them out in order to get the pick up to work. used the dremal with a sanding spool to take enough out of the neck spot so it would mount. on my 1st build I use fender custom shop nocasters and everthing was a perfict match. go figure? all very fixable things just surprized they weren't closer fender spec. any way i needed an excuse to go buy a  derma:)l

Cool!  I use all power tools to assemble my Warmoths.

Brave, Doc....Brave !

That said, my drill is a variable speed, with the speed controlled by the depth of trigger pull.  I usually have it turn pretty slowly while assembling.  The smaller screws are definitely done by hand tools.
