I'm fixing up a guitar and wanna use a Gotoh Floyd but I have a hard time finding Gotoh blocks in 37 mm size in Sweden.
One option is to try to short it down...

But would a OFR block fit? If the three holes in the blocks are the same measurements then I guess I should be fine.

The block would stick out of the back if I aint doing anything about this issue

I have no idea why this whole Gotoh Floyd thing is so mystic, I have really hard time finding any info about anything.....
My sweden parts dealer has Gotoh Floyds, but when I asked if they could order floyds with shorter blocks (which the website clearly says they do now) the dealer responded that the only option is 41...!!!!  :icon_scratch:

On the OFR no idea if it will fit. You could try it of course.

I stumbled across this the other day after reading a post about Pickup Mounting systems...

Brass Sustain Block for Gotoh, choice of sizes from 32 - 42mm

Yeah I know about FU-tone but it would be a bit pricey for me, living in Sweden and all. Import taxes and stuff...

If you know what dimensions you need, you might just be able to get if fabricated in a local machine shop.  It's not exactly rocket science.

Hmmm, maybe that's an option too!

I could just take my stock 41 mm and show and say to them to make a few like this but 4 mm shorter? I would probably need a bunch for future guitars anyway.

And it would be a lot cheaper too I guess?
