One of my good friends is the bassist / part time keyboard player in The Belated, who just released a new album. He's also the daytime DJ on our biggest alt-rock station. He gets much love around here for dedicating an hour to 90's alternative every day.
 
Pretty sure this is an acquired taste. These guys showed up for me to pretty much wash away any interest in late 80s hair bands
