It's worth checking out the original recording and any other versions.

Pat McManus is the guitar player for Mama's Boys from the eighties.

He really doesn't get any recognition and he is a great player on a lot of stuff.

I love the lead guitar work from Bowie's recording of "Fashion". Doesn't get any credit (Carlos Alomar?) in the all time lists but that digital/plate reverb underneath kinda whips it into shape.
