NSX Submarine

Methinks he's going to have a mold problem in the near future. I only have one thing to say to the owner:

It never got in deep enough to inhale that much water.

Certainly speaks well of Honda engineering.

Terrible thing to do to a car like that, though.

That sort of car would come in handy around the Central Coast of NSW atm, it's been raining buckets for the last couple of days, and we have localised flooding in parts.

I'm sure anyone worth anything has already seen this, but this is the vehicle you want for that type of thing:

This had to have been for a Mythbusters episode or something. Either that or somebody really wants to get their hands on some insurance money.

You should see all the parts of that, including the last where they put it on top of a building that was being imploded. Truck rode all the way down to the ground and still started up.  :o

yup. I only posted part 1 of 3. I figured most on this guitar forum are savvy enough to click on "pt. 2" should they desire to see more awesomeness. That being said, I still hold that any human capable of contributing to society will have already seen Top Gear as a prerequisite to being human, certainly . . . and also probably as a prereq for being able to function fully in society. It is after all the number one show in the world.  :icon_thumright:

Love Top Gear, I watch reruns every Monday just to watch the show...Love it, the Toyota truck episode was epic. That truck went thru hellanbach and was still running. Even after being sunk in the sea.... :icon_biggrin:

Wow, must be nice to have enough money to drive an NSX through water like that...

As was previously mentioned, I too, am surprised the thing is still running, and the engine hadn't hydrolocked.

On another front, here's another submarine that wasn't so lucky...

Yeah, the fool was birdwatching...

How much do you think it would cost to get a $1,600,000 French/German sports car repaired after you ran it into a lagoon?  Its not like parts for this thing can be had at your local NAPA.

Probably depends on how many CDs were in/on the CD player/glove box/center console/floor. The RIAA loves guys like that. That YouTube video has been seen well over 300,000 times now, so the owner is going to be liable for at least that many counts of copyright infringement. Judging from some cases that have gone through the courts, he could be on the hook for billions. Maybe even trillions. He could solve the debt crisis and fund Obamacare all in one swell foop. Have to get a second job, but still.
