November 2016 Guitar of the Month Contest Submissions

I just had to throw my hat into the ring. This is a contest I want to be in. Win, lose, or draw, its an honor to compete with all these fine entries. Good luck to everyone who's entered, great looking instruments all!

Sneaking in under the wire, Verne Bunsen is entrant #11! Best of luck to him and to all the contestants!

Three separate times I thought I'd settled on a winner only for another entrant to change my mind. Still not sure...

Figured I'd enter my pride and joy in to see how it stacked up with all these amazing entries. Congrats in advance to the winner! This one will definitely be hard fought (and hard choosing).

What an amazing lineup! 3 Strats, 2 Teles, 1 Soloist, 2 P-Basses and 3 Jazzmasters. Amazing work on all of them. What talent represented here.

For lack of a better word, "Ditto!" I didn't have any particular intentions of submitting the TRBKJM this month, but I suppose I kind of "caught the fever" watching the entries pour in. As fine a gathering of fiddles as ever there was, what a time to be alive! Best of luck to all!

By the by, build thread on said Transparent Red Black Korina Jazzmaster (and its Sea Foam Green cousin) can be found here:

Awesome entries this month!!
Proud to be with you all.

Good luck everyone ;)

There are always nice guitars entered each month, but I feel like I chose a super hard month for my first GOM entry!!!
Good luck all!

Don't sweat it. The only requirement is that it use a major Warmoth part. Past that, there really aren't any rules past some months being user-finished and some pro-finished. There's no cost or build quality metrics. No entry fee or other discriminatory filter. There's no judge with a unilateral bias, just a jury of your peers, and no tangible prize. Any nice fiddle can be chosen, and if it's not, you can always enter again. In other words, it's just for fun, so enjoy yourself  :icon_biggrin:

Don't get me wrong, it is all good fun, and I'm not a super competitive kind no if guy. I was more just surprised at the number of entries this month!!!

Yeah, it's quite a field of exemplary work. Wouldn't have taken many more to where everybody would have only gotten a few votes each and we'd have a 4 or 5 way tie  :icon_biggrin:

Some beauties submitted this month!
Lots of good stuff, including the bass winner.
That tele looks like its sounds like a Big Cat, wild and feral, raw, yet somehow refined and classy!  :headbang4:
