A couple months ago I picked up a 1987 Hondo body and neck off ebay for $70 bucks. Here are the before and after pics.

New Trem Bridge
Grotoh style locking tuners
GFS Boston Blues pickups

Totoal investment $312.00, but it needs a fret job.

Plays pretty well. It will play better once I do a fret job as right now I have the action a little high to avoid buzzing. The frets in the middle of the neck are well worn but the higher frets are not. It has a really narrow neck, it measures 2" at the heel.
