Noiseless Strat Pickups

I think I have decided on dimarzio injectors and the area 67 in the middle position! Te 67 is amazing and was going back and forth between that, injector neck, and Bill Wilde LS280, I really like the injector. The bridge was between Wilde LS290 and the injector, also slightly preferred the injector. Y'all are such a big help! God bless all y'all!

You must have missed the part where I said that the 67 sounds a little too thin in the middle. A 61 sounds more punchy while still being "steeley". The Injector sounds a bit thicker and louder in the neck position (I have two of them) and if that is the sound you're looking for, that's cool, but if you want a more traditional Strat tone from the neck position, I suggest the 67 or 61.

You might want to re-think that. A friend of mine recently bought a set of those pickups and was severely disappointed with them, so much so that he threw them in the trash (no joke). Ended up getting some red EMGs for that guitar.

I haven’t really had the opportunity to smell them before, are they manufactured with a different sort of plastic or something? Come to think of it, I haven’t actually sniffed any pickups yet. (supposed to be humorous)

So it's probably safe to say you haven't rubbed them on your face either.

Seriously, this was 4 or 5 weeks ago. He literally threw a brand-new set of GFS active pickups in the trash. As far as being a pal of mine, he never follows my advice on pickups, which is why my tone is better than his.
