NGD!!

I just figured the slender design would be a bit more comfortable... -'sides, when (-other than in the zombie apocalypse) am I going to need fifteen shots before reloading?

On a different note, here's an AR my son built (with very little help from yours truly):

My Kahr PM 45 is pretty slim  at just a little under an inch, real comfy to carry. I'd been looking at a 9 to carry also, and since I absolutely love my Walther P99 I've been eyeballin' the CCP...

Even the best range warrior becomes pretty inaccurate during a true high stress situation. It's a given you will miss a lot. Now factor in just one extra assailant. To each their own but I carry because of the what ifs. I try not to handicap myself as much as possible. That being said something is better than nothing.

Something really is better than nothing.  Who wouldn't prefer their Glock 17 with a +2 on three mags? 58 rounds should be a good plenty for just about any situation. The downside is that a full sized pistol and a couple of extra mags can be a challenge to carry in a purse or under summer wear. 9 rounds in a 43 (Sintercore has a great +2 for the 43) can be very helpful...because you're likely to actually carry it!

That's why you carry a 19 with some extra full-size mags.

Well unless you're an officer of the Leu...And could be in the occasional shoot out. 8+1 or 10+1 should be plenty...

-And thanks, DangerousR6! But I really can't take much credit; my son researched everything and went with all the aftermarket goodies that appealed to him. (He likes long hand-guards for some reason... I don't know why.) He pretty much came to me when the notches in the barrel nut didn't line up for the passage of the gas tube; I just pretty much offered moral support until we figured out they make shim washers for that problem.

Nice Sig's, my brother is a police officer in Mo. and their service side arms are Sig 226.

I thought of putting one together myself, but in the end it would've cost more than to just buy one. He did a good job though, I'm not much for the full length quad rails, except for the short barrels, like the 10" and 7", those look good with full guards..

This thread kind of reminds me of the Terminator, movie when the character played by Arnold walks in to a gunshop.

Now I've got the idea to let the birdseye blank go.

Gonna consult some gunstock sites to find a reasonable price in order to list it competitively.

My baby was feeling left out, so I had to post her picture too. Probably should have spruced her up a bit before taking the photo, but she's a working girl and don't mind showing it.

Modesty prevents me from showing her 7 rounds of Federal Hydra-Sock. (One of the few rounds worth a damn in .380ACP......)

She shares my love of fine wood, as evidenced by her Goncalo Alves grips.

Running Hydra Shock too, as seen above.  Good defense round.  I've been nursing a box for 25 years.  I save this stuff just for carry.

Totally agree about the HydraShoks. Excellent weight retention/jacket stability, rapid energy transfer, and reliable feed in most semi-autos, without over penetration. They're all I carry in my personal weapons.
