NGD Koa

As it will still be another month before I can get into the shop I  decided to go guitar shopping .  ( still recovering from a motorcycle wreck)


Lucked into this beauty ,  A BTO (build to order)  Taylor custom shop T3 with a gorgeous Koa top .  I love semi hollows ( this my 5th)  Taylors ( my 3rd) and Koa , this will be my 2nd koa guitar , I've built 2 koa basses.  It has a  Sapele body , mahogany /ebony neck.  Master Vol/ Master Tone  coil taps and a 3 way switch .. elegant and effective.

Ironically I have a billet of AAAA quilted sapele and 2 AAAA Koa tops waiting in the shop .. I  figured this would give me inspiration to get those projects moving.

Koa is a poor choice for a guitar. You should send me a billet and I'll make sure it is dealt with properly.  :icon_jokercolor:
