Zombie thread.... Still relevant though....

Did you have to modify the neck heel or neck pocket in any way?  If so, what did you change?

Didnt have to change the heel at all or the pocket, however the the std 4 bolt spacing is different by a few millimeters so I ordered the neck with no pre-drilled holes.

The wiring goes pickup to on.off switch then to a push.pull pot for series/parallel humbucking , 1 for ea pickup then a single common tone then to the jack.

Also this was originally just a 2 humbucker guitar , I routed the middle route and then proceeded to use this as a test mule for just over 40 different models from seymour , dimarzio of course, lawrence , bareknuckles and some more obscure ones and even some custom winds before I found the tone I was looking for,

Tradionally middle humbuckers in the mid posi tend to not sound so good but this d-activator x bridge model in the mid posi just hit the sweet spot with the x2n in the bridge posi and its matching neck pickup in the neck posi.

This testbedding generated the idea for single on/off switches.

She is now called "The MOTHERBUCKER"

That's cool. I hope you were able to put the other pickups to use!

Nice color and I like that it's an Ibanez that worked with a Fender Style neck.
