New walnut tele build.

Finally getting around to making a thread for this build.

Body:
Model: Chambered Telecaster
Orientation: Right handed
Scale: 25-1/2"
Wood: Walnut on Walnut
Rout: Top Rout
Pickup Rout: HH
Bridge: Tele Bridge
Jack Rout: 7/8" (22mm) Side Jack Hole
Neck Pocket: Tele Shape
Mounting Holes: Standard 4 Bolt
Contours: Contoured Heel, Tummy Cut, Forearm Contour
Finish Type: Tru-Oil

Hardware:
Pickups: Darkmoon Solstice Set
Bridge: Babciz FCH Tele Humbucker Z Series

The other parts (Neck, tuners, etc) Are still up in the air for now so you if you have any ideas let me know! (I'm leaning towards either roasted flame maple or indian rosewood for the neck)

The pic is of it after 3 coats of Tru-Oil (I'm planning on going to 5-6).

Looks great! Roasted maple, flame or otherwise, would work well with that. Of course solid rosewood would be a fine look, too.
 
I vote roasted maple neck - the contrast between body and neck would compliment each other well, IMO.
 
Finally got around to ordering the neck! I Finished applying the 5th and final coat of tru-oil so I'm letting cure for a another week or two then I'll apply some renaissance wax.

The neck arrived earlier today and while I forgot to take unboxing pics I did get some after burnishing it. I also finished up the body and got a pickguard so I'll post pics of those when I get a chance.
