Just arrived today.  Super excited to get this guitar finished.  Too bad I have 5 others in front of this one.

12 string neck
Canary neck
Tulipwood fingerboard (looks like bacon  :icon_thumright:)
Boatneck profile
SS 6115 frets
10-16" radius
Pearl diamond inlays
25.5" scale
Graphtech tusq (above)

The first thing I noticed was the flame on the tulipwood!!  It has a very tight grain too.

I will be mating it to a cedar tele.  I have a set of Bill Lawrence microcoils for pups.

That's some sexy guitar bits you're stickin' together there, Crash.  Nice stuff.  I've always liked the stripey look of tulipwood.

Yep you win, never seen one like that before Very Nice.
What bridge & hardware are going on it? Can you put up pics of the micro coils (not many
pics of Bill's p/us around either  :kewlpics: ).
Where did the body come from? Bet it smells great, with the Canary neck is the body going naked too?

It's getting the 12 string bridge that Warmoth sells.  Just have to do a belly cutout on that tele body, then a couple coats of tru oil.

No finish on the neck.  Probably don't need a finish on the cedar body, but I am going to put a few coats of tru oil to bring out the red on the cedar.  It really has no color dry.  The pic above I wet the body with naptha.
