If you can play a 5 or 6 string bass then an 8 string guitar isn't a stretch.

Doug has slotted the baseplate of the Floyd Rose to allow the wires to pass through. It's slowly coming together.

And I can tell you, that's a real Floyd. That base plate is hard..Had to use carbide to drill it.. :doh:

So my jumper cable to join the two summing boards is bad, so I ordered a new one. My tech sent me this teaser image to show how it's coming together.

When I get it back and have some time to do some recording, there may be some smaller snippets that float around before I can get around to making a full blown demo of all positions/sounds. I may also see if my tech can record me noodling on it when I do my final QC on everything.

I'm currently stuck on knob selection: black round tops (ala Ibanez), black speed knobs, black PRS-style knobs (to match the PRS switch tips and 513 switching layout).
