Just caught a Cordoba C9 crossover from Sweetwater for under $500. Solid European Spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard binding and bridge, bone saddle and nut. The neck is their "Fusion": 1 7/8 at the nut, 16 inch radius, and a "modern C"ish profile, Spanish heel joint, dual action truss rod.
Excellent sound, decent volume event with finger tips, good sustain. The action is a bit high but that is to be expected with a factory setup.
If you are looking for a nylon stringer and you don't want to go full on classical I suggest you check it out. Also available with a cedar top and they also have a rosewood back/side version (C10 crossover).
