Neck over 10 years old

My Warmouth neck has been great. Everything I'd want in look and feel. Yesterday I noticed a little buzzing on  the high E string. I checked the neck relief and there is none on the high side and a bit too much on the low side. Sign of a warp. Is this repairable?  I'm bummed about this. It's a Strat neck quartersawn maple with maple fretboard finished by Warmouth. Jumbo frets, graphite nut. Compound radius. I'm thinking I need a new neck. This really shouldn't happen. I have some much older guitars that are fine as ever. Most likely won't do another Warmouth.

It's repairable, but you'd have to really be deeply and hopelessly in love with that particular neck and want it to live forever to justify the cost because you can get a new one for about the same money if you're happy with Maple.

I wouldn't avoid the Warmoth product, though. They use very high grade woods that are properly seasoned, and you can get stainless frets for a very small adder. Maple is just a funny wood in that it will move on you sometimes. Usually a hard finish prevents that, but it's still not a guarantee. You might want to consider getting a neck made of either roasted Maple or Canary. Has the same sound as Maple and once burnished has a very similar feel, but it doesn't require a finish and is remarkably stable. Get one with a dual-acting truss rod, and you can set it up and forget about it, pretty much forever.

Sorry to hear.  Seems unusual.  I have a  warmoth tele neck maple and rosewood over 15 years old....perfectly straight.  I used poly on the maple.  All my other necks hold shape very well.  how often have you had to adjust it??

That really does suck, and quite unusual for quarter sawn, that's normally the strongest cut. I have several birdseye maple Warmoth necks with nothing more than a bit of lemon oil rub on them and are nearly 20 yrs old, and not a sign of any issues. But Maine is quite a very different climate than here in Texas, so that could be an issue or just a piece of lumber that wasn't very stable, not reason to blow off Warmoth, could happen to any manufacturer...
