Good, I've thought of putting something between the trem and the body, maybe a thin piece of plastic. Eddie used a coin - f*ck that!
Most of mine that I don't want any pull up action, I take a small piece of material, such as aluminum or phenolic. And bolt it down in the underside cavity rout, so that the trem block rests up against it.

very nice idea..I bet it helps when a string breaks too!
Do you have to adjust it with different gauges of strings??
but I don't see that it would make much of a difference...But it could be made to be adjustable...

I have noticed if I use a different gauge string (entire set), it will put more or less tension on the block and change the angle a bit.  Not too much ibut it can be noticed.  I have thought about the hip shot too

Is that a bit of birdseye I see before me?

Good choice, if I do say so myself  :icon_thumright:

I would imagine a heavier gauge string would pull more on the bridge, but that's usually compensated with another spring of tightening the claws screws in a bit. Would have no effect on the stop as the bridge is being pulled away from it. And the stop is set to where the bridge is level...

How would CB describe that neck...

defective, more freckled than Alfalfa! It practically has leprosy!

These are all good things.

I am in total agreement.  Very nice neck  :icon_thumright:
Gotta love that birdseye...
:kewlpics: :rock-on:
