I,m going for an totaly white guitar "White out Albino"  :glasses9:

So color of the body is going to be white pearl.

Neck is an all maple 3A 24 fret without inlays, (Just side dots)
Pickups are white with white pickup covers.
All hardware is going to be chrome.

I think its going to be awesome  :icon_jokercolor:

This looks awesome, but I really strongly doubt that the ZR will fit. It has completely different routing, and I KNOW that the cavity through the body is completely different.

I think all black hardware on a white guitar is as sexy as it gets. Toss in an ebony fingerboard and give me a box of tissues :-D

Welcome to the fold!  I'd agree black hardware would look great, but I'm a sucker for chrome, too.

Idont think I've seen a white guitar with all chrome hardware and a light colored fb. It will probably look awesome that way too

I have a recent Strat build like that. Jet black ebony 'board with stainless frets, black pickguard and hardware, all on an Alpine White body. Can't find the pictures; I don't think I ran a thread on it. I'll have to check my server if you're interested in seeing it. Built it as a knock-around so I wouldn't have to take the fancy fiddles when I play out, but it's rapidly turning into my favorite so I'm loathe to take it out as well. Gonna hafta build a rag-ride <grin>

We need a "Rat-Rod" build around here.  :icon_jokercolor:

It's like my EVH Frankie clone, I don't ever keep it in a case. The more banged and road worn it gets, the more authentic it looks.  :laughing7:

I agree in principle, and that's sorta what this black/white fiddle was gonna be. It was a "screamin' deal" body (albeit a nice one), and I just put GFS pickups in it. But, I can't stand anything less than a Warmoth neck anymore, so I had to have that. And it's only $20 more for stainless frets. For what a finish cost, I could get a premium wood neck (ebony over pau ferro) without getting slammed. And non-locking tuners are a pain in the ass, so you gotta spring for lockers no matter what. Then, cheapie bridges won't return to zero reliably and they're not that much cheaper anyway. Warmoth makes excellent pickguards at reasonable prices, so no sense trying to save any money there. By the time I got done, it was a damn nice guitar <grin>

Thing is, with a few exceptions here and there, most of the builds discussed here are by people who've already had a pile of guitars in their lives and are sick to death of all the deficiencies. We don't have the patience for "rat-rod" instruments. Been there, done that, got the attitude. Time to do it right for a change.

Maybe I'll just chain this white one up to the back of my brother's truck and go off-roading for a while. That'll teach it to be nice <grin>

I'm sure it'll be beautiful. Nice thing about black or white bodies is that neither is a color, so anything matches and nothing clashes. Plus, chrome hardware is easier to get, slightly less expensive, and often wears better.
