How are the pickups working out?

I am building similar, swamp ash on swamp ash, canary neck and ebony fingerboard, nocasters, sperzel tuners, callaham hardware.

The pickups are working out much better since I replaced the volume pot a few months ago.  I was chasing a ground hum and found it only read 110k across the outer lugs.  I'm not sure if I cooked it originally or it was defective from the start.

I'm tossing up between the Broadcaster (no tone / blend in third position on switch) or standard tele.

I'd heard mixed things about the usefulness of the "dark" setting on the Broadcaster.  So I went with a third option, and it kicks ass so far.
