hi,

this is my first warmoth,

took me 2 months and 2 starts over.
anyway, the body is mahogany with koa top and the neck is ebony on maple with a matching koa veneer.

what do you think?

ah sorry for the bad pictures, my camera has something wrong, but it`s all i have at the moment...

Looks great!  I like the W headstock on the Soloist body; I did that with one of mine.

Which DiMarzios are those?

well,

i got the breed in the bridge, a fast track 1 in the middle and a cruiser in the neck.
i love the breed and especially the cuiser.
i was actually inspired by Andy Timmons kind of tone and this guitar is very similar to his,
i say similar becuase he has a custom made AT bridge pick up (dimarzio said the most similar to that is infact the breed), and then he uses  2 cruisers bridge at the neck and middle position ( i only found out after i bought mine).
i was really looking for a different tone on this new guitar because i had to many jacksons with the usual jb in the bridge and jazz in the neck,
which i like very much but got a bit bored of...

this is anotherr pic by the way...

Sounds like those pup choices will provide a very versatile tonal palatte.  :icon_thumright:

1 more pic and i`ll stop,
sorry about this but i`m really happy and excited about this, i can`t stop playing it...

Is that a metal style decal, similar to what warmoth does?  If so, where did you get it?

Sweet axe, by the way, looks simple and versatile.  I like the warmoth headstock on the soloist body

Sweet soloist!

Don't worry about too many pics.  We dig guitar porn!  :icon_thumright:

the decal is a vynil one and i bought it on ebay from a guy in north england (i live in london).
it`s actually on the clear coat with automotive cleaning compound and wax applied on.

this is a closer picture

Are your strings wound to the outside of the posts intentionally?  Just curious, most people wind em the other way so they have less of an angle thru the nut.

Very nice guitar. It's nice to see an elegant axe, there have been some wild ones recently.  :laughing7:

Good eye blu

hi,
the strings on ther outside of the posts are not intentional, but i restrung the guitar the other day and got them the "right way"...

Love it man!!  Great pickup choices.  I love my cruiser.  I've been wanting to try the Breed for a while too.

Hi,

yes try the breed, it`s really well balanced and i live the way the highs sound, very smooth and rounded.

That's a nice guitar! I have been thinking about getting a custom Soloist. I currently own a Jackson DXMG and I love the body. How similar are a Warmoth Soloist's (flat top) body and a Jackson Dinky's in terms of size and shape? How thick is the forearm contour at its thinnest point? If you or someone else could post a few pictures of a Soloist's forearm contour from a few different angles, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
