I just picked up a Blackheart killer ant and I'm thoroughly impressed! This thing cranks at just over loud talking volume! My wife's always complaining about my playing is too loud, so I thought I'd try this little guy. It does great classic rock to borderline 80's glam/metal stuff. I hooked up a pedal just as a gain boost and got screaming harmonics ala early VH plexi style! If you get a chance to play one they sound fantastic and you really can get the cranked tube sound at talking volumes. I'm very happy with it, hopefully it holds up, but for the price it's been a great deal so far! I know some other people have posted stuff, just wanted to throw my thoughts and experience!
