That was after the wetsand, and three buffings. Tomorrow I am going do a nice coat or two of Meguiar's Number 7 Glaze. Sadly, though the Guitar is mostly smooth, we couldn't get two specs of hair from the Guitar, but luckily it was in the back, RIGHT in the beltbuckle spot.

Looks nice! Surf music seems like it would fit. I can't wait to see the glaze, I'm sure it'll look even better!

Love the color, and the pearloid  pickguard looks great with the paint color! :kewlpics:

may i ask ,,, was it worth it??? accounting for the materials, your time, your frustration??  if you could do it over would you get warmoth to finish for you???

by the way i like the colour :icon_thumright:

Thanks guys, and I LOVE the pearloid Pickguard.

To sundin: Yes, it was. I was frustrated and flustered because I never did it before and was freaking out, because hair and dust, and runs, and splatter kept on happening. But in the end it was fun, and love Nitro so it was again another plus. Sadly on the back there are a dust/hair or two, but it isn't that bad, I'll get over it, and it shows I'm not perfect. I bet Warmoth does a great job, but doing it was so much fun.

Max, I don't do surf, I do Blues, but trust me, I'm gonna do some Wipe Out or Mislou, or something :)

Zach I love the color, I feel instantly happy whenever I see anybody building a sonic blue-esque guitar.

Thanks, sadly while putting the neck in some paint got chipped off, but we are touching it up and is looking much better.

I love Sonic Blue.

In picture #3 you look like you've never had a better day,  :laughing11:.
