After many many many strats, this is my 1st Les Paul type guitar. I couldn't be happier with it. Carvin builds really good quality gear.  :hello2:

Nice job. Everybody should own a Les Paul at least once or three times. Cleans the palate <grin>

:headbang1:

Looks great and you nailed a nice tone, especially considering it's a camera mic & compressed by the intertubes.

I have always Admired Carvin guitars.  They do nice work.

I do not know if it is the combo of the smaller headstock, the modified LP shape or what but that guitar looks TINY on you.  Unless you are a 7 foot giant!
Maybe just me...I'm a little jet-lagged... :laughing7:

Great purchase...did you go direct from Carvin?

If you ain't Randy Rhoads or Tommy Shaw, LPs look small on most people, IMO and LOL.

Agreed!!!!  :icon_thumright:

I used to think that all you needed were strats & if you wanted a Les Paul sound, just get one made out of mahogany & put in a PAF. I did this, & although it was fatter sounding, it just gets buried when compared to a Les Paul.

After years of strats, I finally got a Tele & a Les Paul this year & I'm kicking myself for not having diversified earlier. Now I'm looking at a, dare I say, Korina Flying V ala herr Schenker.

I still haven't owned a Tele, and every time I get a Les Paul it only lasts 6 months to a year before I decide to sell it. They have their place, but they're always the red-headed stepchild to me so they're easy to sacrifice.

Sweet guitar, I'm thinking about purchasing a Carvin acoustic soon  :icon_thumright:

Whats the neck profile like on it?

It's the thickest neck I own, but then again, I mostly have wizard profile necks.

The CS6 is 1.69" wide @ nut, 2.23" wide @ 22nd fret & 25" scale.

Ok cool, so if you had to guess would you say its close to Warmoth's standard thin? Or a little thicker?
