For your viewing pleasure, inspired by the Iconic guitar thread which guitarists have the best move or dance.

Without further ado, I give you Hank...

The above clip contains an abundance of gold hardware...

Place your moves suggestions below....

On one of his appearances on Austin City Limits, SVR strums behind his back mid-song, then alternating strums in-front & behind for the end-of-song big finish!  :hello2:

Post a video clip from You Tube... I think I have that SRV DVD. I am not sure which one it is but the bass player looks huge next to Stevie.

-Can't find a video right at the moment.  I don't have access to any "social media", I'm at work.  :evil4:

There's the famed (ha!) Yngwie Malmsteen Squat:

It seems to have evolved into the Yngwie Kneel as his bones have aged and his middle has gotten girthier:

There are a lotta guitar moves/dances that I've enjoyed, but being the perv that I am, I've always liked the ZZTop video of "Legs". You get the iconic guitars, hot legs, serious rock 'n' roll and a nice fantasy all rolled into one.

Some good ones here.

As much as I like Yngwie the squat with the outstretched leg I first saw Ritchie Blackmore doing it. I guess that's where Yngwie did too.  I used to do this too back in the day :-)

Pete Townshend, ah yes the famous right hand circular motions...

Chuck Berry, the duck walk just brilliant.

ZZ Top, those videos at the time of Eliminator, made them huge in Europe.

But Cockney Ryhming slang now has a lot to answer for... check it out...

1. Chuck Berry Duckwalk. Do it and everyone expects to hear "Johnny B Goode".
2. Pete Townshend Windmill. To be done explicitly in any cover of "Won't Get Fooled Again". Slide across stage while singer is tearing his lungs out,  is optional.  :icon_thumright:
3. Jimi Hendrix Set Guitar on Fire. You have better be bloody brilliant in your set to even contemplate this, otherwise audience & PARTICULARLY the bar owner, will simply go "WTF Dude!" as you douse the guitar in lighter fluid and try to set it alight. Get the lighting sequence wrong and the whole place could go up!  :icon_biggrin:
4. Status Quo rocking huddle. Heads down, guitars rocking back & forth in sync with each other to the boogie.  :party07:

This one is Live from the El Mocambo I think. Texas Flood. Go the moves at about 07:34 but believe me the playing is a master class before that, so you might wanna watch the whole clip!  :o

And then there's this, speaking of Townshend:

Foot on the monitor is the coolest.  Can't do that with in ears.

I think John Petrucci, had metal foot rests made either side of his pedalboard so he could still rest his feet. Apparently it's more so he can get the guitar into a supported position for difficult passages.

Got to agree with SustainerPlayer - Either version he did of the duckwalk, Chuck Berry had the moves.  :guitarplayer2:

Since we aren't limited to dance moves, I'd also include Jimi playing the strat with his teeth!  :laughing8:
