Mini HiFi system with iphone dock?

So, THAT time of year soon. You know, the one we're not allowed to mention.  :laughing7:
I've gone for too long without a stereo system in my room and i'm on the lookout for a small, powerful mini HiFi system that I could chuck in my room that i'll be able to both hook up to my TV and Xbox AND use with my iphone. Any Suggestions?

But maybe a little more powerful, and a bit better looking, haha. I'm kinda looking for something with a bit of oomph, but nothing like a huge 1000watt home theater system.

Might be more than what you're looking for but have you checked out a sound bar? I bought one for my bedroom LCD tv and it is perfect. It came with a wireless sub all for about $300 dollars. The sub is what really makes the difference. Everyone makes them all with about the same features and in that same pricepoint. You can get better ones all the way into the $1000 range but for music games and movies in the bedroom this is awesome and takes up no space at all.

Sounds great, what brand? There seems to be a few, I have no idea whats good at all.

If you click his provided link you will see he knows exactly what he is talking about. If you read the OP he only refers to a system. The dock is only mentioned in the tag. So did you have a recommendation for him or........... :dontknow:

any receiver with a 3.5mm jack would accomodate an ipod/iphone/walkman/nearly-anything, unless OP is looking for one with a remote.
