X/Y crossvise on the drill press of doom. Clamp the neck in there, drill the offending markers out, glue in some new ones, cut 'em flush, sand 'em back, polish to taste, and away you go.
It really isn't a major event, then. Thanks.

Dat sea Foam green bass...  :icon_thumright:

Such a shame I can't order a neck Mother of Pearl inlays.

You know, Aaron, I'm going to bet you're not selling too much at full price this week.    :dontknow:

Screamin' Deals are definitely dominating, but the beauty of discounted sales is that they spur regular sales too.

"I just got this new Warmoth body on sale!!! Now I need a neck for it...and since I saved so much on the body I'm gonna splurge on the neck!"

Yep...definitely a big week in sales this week.

In other news this week:
Just finished up two new videos. One is a shop tour of our wood processing and body shop areas. That one comes out next Wednesday.

The other is a tone shoot-out between identical Vintage, Vintage/Modern, and Modern necks. Identical....right down to being cut from the piece of Maple. It was a very laborious video to shoot, but also pretty educational. I can't wait to get it up on YouTube, so the internet can tear me to pieces!!!

I think it's much like smelling the neighbor's BBQ, it gets the juices flowing to create a 'need'.

Hey, looking forward to those videos.

After looking online at Sea foam Green jazz basses, I think I prefer a dark brown fretboard to a true black or maple with *that* shade of green.

Oh, a Pau Ferro on maple, in the screamin' deals?

Don't mind if I do!

"You know wood isn't magnetic so the wood can't effect the sound, init"  :evil4: :evil4: :evil4:

I'm also looking forward to those videos. Especially the shop tour.
And the neck wood shoot out ...

I had that great transparent black strat body in my cart last night, someone bought it before I finished checking out...

So to make sure I didn't have to go through that anguish again, I put 2 bodies & 2 necks in my cart and I was successful with both.

I guess this means I should stop looking... right?

I really needed a bass that sparkles...

it will look great  :cool01: as I have planned to make this into aquamarine too  :glasses9:

I just run out of $ as received 2 bodies and one of 4 Jul body coming  :help: I need to stop looking too  :icon_tongue:

I almost got that one instead of the rock candy, it was very close but then I would have felt compelled to pair it with something like this...

And that was a little more money than I wanted to spend, since I still have to put pups and hardware in them all...

There was more than a handful of good guitar bodies "screaming" for a new home.
Quality pieces too!

Been away from here for quiet some time. And I can see my last build is from 2014  :o

But this body:

and this neck:

Will be my 11. Warmoth build

I guess I'll start on it this winter. I'm contemplating a HSS strat with black hardware and a Fernandes Sustainer.

Welcome back! And excellent choices! I was looking at that body, too. Loves me some Candy Apple Red. And jet black Ebony w/ no inlays? What could possibly be wrong with that? That's gonna be a sweet fiddle.
