Yeah, I was pretty excited about this one...  So "waiting" any longer than necessary was not really an option.    :laughing7:

After Mayfly's comment, I decided to string it up and "kick the tires" so to speak.  She had a gremlin in the ground that had to be sorted out.  She is also going to be dropped off on Monday for a fret job and setup.

I'm digging the pickups so far, but I have not tried them out in my Fender Tweed clone amp yet.  Needless to say, I plan on playing the shit out of this guitar.

That is a nice piece of birdseye. What grade of maple did you order ?

Birdseye Maple Premium 4A, which is an $80 upgrade.

Seems like $80 well spent  :icon_thumright:
