LSR on Non-Tremolo guitar?

I was thinking about this idea, i like the Lsr because of it's low maintenance, and lack of filing, cutting etc. but would it even function correctly on a string thru or stop tail guitar? it seems it should still theoretically work, but does anyone have any ideas of the cons to this setup, since there is no movement at the nut like on a trem guitar is this just redundant to install? I have a Fender LSR  on a Tele I did:

It was an import prefinished neck I was originally going to use on a different build; the neck looked good on that Tele Custom and it wound up there. No issues at all, although with the metal roller nut that Tele sounds even more "twangy" than they usually do....

Just remember that the LSR is not available for tilt back pegheads.

the neck will be just a regular style headstock (probably a CBS) but after thinking about it, I'm not really wanting a "twangy" tone, and the $80 extra for the cutting and the nut itself doesn't excite me too much,  but who knows, i may just wing it and go for hassle free,  :blob7:
