One cat owner to another, and =CB= can vouch for this, cats rarely play with toys that are bought.  They love garbage.  Foil ball, a rubber band, a string, an empty 35mm film canister, the part you peel off of a milk jug.

For sure, my cat plays with the weirdest stuff she can find, but never what i buy for her to play with.... :tard:

we've got two cats. one loves twist ties that come on packages like the the wires of a dvd player we just got... and he also steals ANYTHING that the other cat tries to play with. he's kind of an boom-boom  :-\  and the only thing he lets the other cat have is a ping pong ball haha

anyway, i tried to wire this thing up the other day with a wiring harness and couldn't get the thing to work. i'm pretty disappointed, but until my new pots get here from stewmac i can do the important detail work like ferrules and getting the pickguard holes drilled.

the neck is extremely loose in the neck pocket. i'm a little bit worried about that, but going to try not to worry until i really know how it sits when it's bolted in. just think it's strange... my last project's neck was so tight in the body that i had to sand out the neck pocket! this one practically falls right in.

did a bit of a mock up with the parts. it's driving me crazy that i can't wire the thing up!

so far i think it looks pretty damn good!
