Coming soon in a brown truck:

That's macassar ebony on a lovely flame maple.  Boatneck; 1 11/16" nut width;   Ordered with stainless 6105's and a black graphtech nut.  I'll do an LSR sometime when the extra dough is available, but in any case, I've never had trouble with the graphtech anyway.  The plan is to either tung oil it or do the tru-oil thing; thinking about a  light amber tint (maybe a light shellac undercoat?)  to make the flame really pop.  I'll look into Tonar's threads on that topic for guidance.
