I am trying to find some custom wood humbucker mounting rings, switch knobs, and pot knobs.  Have been able to find several sources for more common wood varieties.  However, I am looking for Ebony pieces and have only been able to find one source for this variety.

These pieces look extremely fine, are custom built,  and they are obviously very proud of them.  However I am not willing to pay the price of an entire Warmoth body for Ebony hardware pieces. :icon_scratch:

Does anyone know of any reasonable sources for custom wood pieces?  I am thinking that I should quite my job and start building this stuff if other builders are actually buying at this price.  Anyway, would appreciate any references!!!

Be cool and have a rockin' day  :guitarplayer2:

Looks like they take custom orders Bart.... :dontknow:

Custom Orer Ebony - HSS. How cool is that? Proud Owner chose these rings for an all out custom made Strat.

Hey Dangerous,

Got your email, and thanks for the quick response.  Will be sending you some art!

Yes, these folks do take custom orders and they obviously do some smoking work.  Just looking for something a little more affordable.
Their price for custom P90 pickup cover sets X 2 and 3 knobs comes in at $400.00.  I have seen some sources in Europe that are priced half that fee,  but with the exchange rate these days, ends up costing the same.

Just lookin' for more bang for the buck.  Thanks for your time and have a smooth night!  :rock-on: Regards, Bart

Here's the folks I used.

For Pickups, P-90 Pickup Covers and Pickup Rings, I went to Reed James Custom.  http://www.reedjamescustom.com  None of his stuff is veneer, its all carved from hardwood.  His pickups rings are a good deal compared to others I've seen.  And he's a mad scientist.

For Knobs I went to Exotic Wood Guitar Knobs and Parts, an Ebay store.  http://stores.ebay.com/Exotic-Wood-Knobs-And-Guitar-Parts

For the Pickguard, I went to Artisan Guitar Repair.  It is veneer on plastic, but I know he makes veneer on laminate for an all wood pickguard. http://www.artisanguitarrepair.com/

Not shown in the pic is a toggle switch tip made of wood, I just went to the craft store and found a wooden bead that fit (my wife is an avid crafter, I find myself in that store all the time)

Aaaaaaaaaaaand where did you go for the neck plate......Wasn't to me...... :binkybaby:

Okay, the one that started out as a '69 Tthinline RI still has its original neckplate with a Fender "F" logo.  The other has one from Warmoth, nothing fancy.  The Epiphone obviously doesn't have one.
