The next person who posts that they have a Les Paul WITHOUT posting a picture of it is getting a swift kick to the 'nads.  You've been warned  :toothy12:

To rectify my egregious error, here is a picture of Chuck, my home-brew Warmoth LPS (sorry about the flash):

It's actually Dupont Competition Yellow, for a 1981 Corvette.  :icon_biggrin:
The pickups are nothing terribly wacky though.  Just a set of SD Phat Cats. I decided I wanted P-90s after the body was already routed H-H...

This is all I have left of my Les Paul, a '76 custom. My first solid body guitar, loaned it to my brother like a dumb ass, never to be seen again...

What on earth are you doing loaning a guitar like that to someone you've only known your whole life?  That's not nearly long enough to trust him with that axe  :o

I assume you used appropriate amounts of lime on the body Dangerous and made sure to clean up all your shell casings.

But if he's your brother, doesn't that give you the right to beat on him until he returns (or replaces, as the case may be) that guitar?

Or enter in his home, beat him AND get the guitar back, by force???

Body was destroyed in a fire, and I used a revolver.... :laughing7:

Guitar is gone, he doesn't have it. He said he left it at a friends house during a party. Went back to get it and it was gone... :dontknow:

He's a police officer, I don't think I'd want to break into his house.... :icon_biggrin:

Oh man, I can't even imagine how much I'd have to beat up my brother if he LOST my LP... and mine ain't no '76 Custom...

I was rather put out with him for quite some time...But I claimed it on my insurance that it was stolen, so I got some monies out of it... :laughing7:

Heres "Wino", my 05 Standard.;

Now has original  Burstbucker bridge and I replaced the neck pickup with a  Tim Shaw and put the chrome covers back on the pickups . 9+ pounds- non swiss cheesed body. Sounds like a million bucks. Could have never afforded it but it dropped into my lap at 700.00 last year.

^ yeah, thanks. Wine red is one of the least "cool" guitars, you barely ever see any of the stars bust em out compared to black, bursts or even white.  The dude in April Wine was about the last guy I saw play one live I think, and that was a long time ago.
